Centice began by winning the Duke Start-Up Challenge at Duke University and
was then founded in 2004 to commercialize patented and patent-pending
computational sensor technology originally developed at Duke.
Although the technology has many applications,
Centice has focused on the development of the The PASS Rx system, the
Company’s first pharmaceutical verification product. The PASS Rx system improves
the verification process for dispensed medications, thereby increasing
patient safety.
